Advanced Placement
What is Advanced Placement (AP)?
Students in AP courses study topics in greater depth with and an opportunity for enhance learning. AP Prep courses in Grades 9,10 and 11 prepare students for the Gr. 12 AP course. Grade 12 AP courses offer university-level content to students in secondary school. Students enrolled in Gr. 12 AP courses will have the opportunity to write College Board Exams in May, which may translate into a University credit.
The course material along with unique tasks offer opportunities for rich class discussions and interactions. AP is recognized by post-secondary institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide, including 90% of North American colleges and universities.

AP Program at Saint Paul
Parents/Guardians of students who would like to register for the Gr. 9 AP program for the 2022-23 school year are asked to complete a Google Form. Parents will need a gmail account to complete the form. This Google Form is available under the Student Services Tab on spchs.ca.
